This day consists of equestrian clinicians who have donated their time and knowledge to make this event happen.
Lunch hour will be filled with pony rides, pony carriage rides and of course, LUNCH! Kim Fontaine, a horse enthusiast for over 10 years, was the youngest to sit for and pass the MA horseback riding instructor’s exam at just 18 years of age. She is a proud horse owner who is currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program at a nearby college and plans to graduate with a large animal concentration. Kim works hard dispatching in her local police departments in pursuit of her dream of sharing her love of horses with others and owning her own stable. Hillview Stables, established by Kim, is a taste of that dream. She plans to grow HVS into a small boarding and lesson facility in the near future. During the jumping clinic, expect to learn from the ground up. When selecting a horse for jumping, which conformational strengths are key? How do I introduce my horse to jumping and how should I prepare as a rider? What exercises can I use to improve? The sky’s the limit!  |
